Reed Sensor for Fish Tracking Devices
Fish Tracking Device
Introduction
Fish tracking devices
Fish world wide is the major protein source of many of the countries around the world. Being a major food source increases concern that the huge fish populations are properly regenerating their populations on a healthy continuing basis. Fish farming has been increasing dramatically, but when comparing the two, the natural species comes out on top in many critical categories. So studying the migratory habits of some of the major fish species like salmon with tracking devices can yield critical information. These tracking devices are extremely small and contain micro-electronics. To extract the information MEDER’s micro-machined hermetically sealed reed switch that draws no power, successfully extracts the needed information when called upon.
